"לגרעין אסיף, האוסף את תקוותי הנאמנה ואת תקוות קולנו לקראת פםח"

"one" knafe in the old city

Terraces outside jlem

I have read and been told many times that before the establishment of the state, most land here was worked by ignorant, inefficient generally lazy, tenant farmers. Apparently the ones around here liked to use there free time to build an elaborate terrace system.

Which way to jerusalem?

I appreciate the sentiment, but this signage left me a little confused.
